The stylish Rivers Edge park is surrounded by lakes, fells & woodlands and offers plenty of stunning, scenic riverside walks. If you fancy some relaxation there are several riverside picnic area's where you can simply sit back and breathe in beautiful views of the River Greta from the banks where the park is nestled. 

The park also has a children's playground, an owner's games area with a selection of books, DVD's and games, an information suite and arriving soon - concierge services!!

The park is pet friendly and WiFi is available.


As well as the riverside walks and riverside picnic area's at RIvers Edge, the park is surrounded by lakes, fells and woodlands for you to explore.

The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is close to the park, you can go fell walking at Ingleborough or head deep into the Dales to towns such as Settle and Skipton. 

From the park, you can take numerous cycling routes in and around Forest of Bowland, with hire points and charging stations along the forest perimeter for electric bikes.

For a day at the beach, head to Morecambe Bay which is a 40 minutes’ drive. Or go further afield to the national gems within the Lake District, such as Lake Windermere which is England's largest lake or the ancient market town of Kendal.

INGLETON WATERFALL TRAIL - (1.8 miles from River’s Edge)

The thriving town of Ingleton is known as ‘The Land of Waterfalls’. Follow the well-defined footpath of the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and you will be rewarded with the most spectacular views of these falls.

WHITE SCAR CAVE (3.3 miles from River’s Edge). 

The area is also well known for its caves, and White Scar Cave is the longest show cave in Britain. With a whole underground world of waterfalls, formations and an ice age cavern which is filled with thousands of stalactites.

RIBBLEHEAD VIADUCT - (8.1 miles from River’s Edge)

Just a short drive away is Ribblehead Viaduct, a beautiful Victorian landmark built in the 1870s and surrounded by the verdant landscape of the valley. You can go to the Visitor Centre to discover more about the viaduct’s history.

THE WENSLEYDALE CREAMERY - (18.2 miles from River’s Edge)

Delve further into the Dales and you’ll find the home of Wensleydale cheese. Explore the museum and watch from the gallery to witness the production, and enjoy authentic Wensleydale dishes in the on-site restaurant.

HORNBY CASTLE - (7.2 miles from River’s Edge)

This magnificent country house was once a medieval castle and although usually closed to the public, there are special events throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy Garden Open Days on selected dates where dogs are also welcome.

DUNSOP BRIDGE WALK - (18.2 miles from River’s Edge)

Forest of Bowland is a superb destination for cyclists and it’s also wonderful for walkers. Venture into the heart of the park to take on the Dunsop Bridge Walk, a 10 mile circular route with tracks, fields and open moorland.

KENDAL - (20.5 miles from River’s Edge)

It’s easy to get to the Lake District from our park and the market town of Kendal is the ideal gateway to the Lakes region; with ancient buildings and castles, great shopping and fantastic food and drink on offer throughout the year.

BOWNESS-ON-WINDERMERE - (29.6 miles from River’s Edge)

Less than an hour away is Bowness-on-Windermere, one of the most popular towns on Lake Windermere. Rent a boat nearby for a sailing adventure or hop on the cruise to explore nearby gems such as Brockhole and Ambleside.


With open countryside and woodland, lakes and coastline plus lively towns and villages all within easy reach, you can choose the perfect backdrop for every visit to Rivers Edge. Spend an afternoon with a bucket and spade at Morecambe Bay, go shopping and sightseeing in Skipton, or visit the many cafes and tearooms in Settle, Ingleton, Hawes and Kirkby Lonsdale.


On the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales and with access to the Lake District, owners will have the best of British gastronomy on their doorstep.
